Cashier Limits

Pay by bank casino UK: from banking app to bank account

All 21 UK-licensed casino cashiers listed here take pay by bank deposits and say winnings can go back the same way. On 16 of them, the terms or payment pages send a payout back to the deposit method as a rule. The money comes straight from a bank account. Each payment is approved in the bank’s own app or online banking, with no card details typed in. Cost and timing depend on the operator. ProgressPlay Limited’s 9 sites take “1% up to £3 per withdrawal”, while every other cashier listed rules out a casino fee on payouts. The route goes by several names at the cashier, Trustly and Open Banking among them.

Times are the casinos’ own, quoted for the stage named; they are not test results. A record that prints no time or limit has no time stated for that method, or only a general timeframe, or no limit stated with its basis; it never means there is no limit.

Trustly casino payments and other open banking names

Open Banking Limited describes pay by bank as a payment made directly from a bank account. A UK bank payment network then moves the money, while a regulated payment initiation service provider connects the merchant to the bank behind the scenes. Each cashier row keeps the casino’s own name for the route.

Trustly
Playzee and SpinYoo list Trustly with a yes for deposits and for withdrawals. Betnero describes it as a way to pay in directly from a bank account. Trustly calls itself a payment service provider, not a casino, and its help centre lists “a merchant that offers Trustly or Pay by Bank” first among the things a payment needs. An eligible personal bank account and the bank’s own sign-in come next. No Trustly account, password or app is required. Trustly UK Limited is an Authorised Payment Institution regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, as stated by Trustly.
Open Banking and Pay by Bank
Grand Ivy’s payments page reads “Deposit and withdraw using openbanking at Grand Ivy”. Paddy Power files the route as Pay by Bank and asks customers to connect a bank account with Open Banking.
A bank payment named with Truelayer
ProgressPlay Limited’s withdrawal tables give the bank route its own line. Its Payment Identification column reads “Truelayer Limited / ProgressPlay Ltd”.
A bank transfer
Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited’s payment-methods pages list a bank transfer route ticked for deposits and for withdrawals. Grosvenor Casinos and The Vic are among them.

Whatever the name, the casino decides whether the route pays out. Trustly’s page for casino players, read on 3 October 2026, leaves that call to the merchant. The merchant also decides when a withdrawal request is sent.

Pay by bank withdrawals to the account that paid in

A pay by bank withdrawal normally follows the money back to where it came from. ProgressPlay Limited’s terms transfer a withdrawal to the payment method or methods first used to deposit. The same terms require that method to be verified before any deposit or withdrawal is processed. Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited’s payment pages say winnings can usually leave only by the method that paid in. Where several methods were used, the payout goes to whichever shows the largest net deposits, its deposits minus its withdrawals. So a debit card with larger net deposits than the bank account can pull the payout onto the card. Betnero sends a withdrawal to the account the funds came from, where that is possible.

Paddy Power’s help centre puts its Pay by Bank payout on the withdrawals page, under a tab labelled Popular, and says the money shows “in your bank immediately”. Its summary of the route links that withdrawal option to a first deposit. In money terms, the account that pays in is usually the one winnings land in, so deposit from the bank account you want paid.

Bank transfer casino payout fees and timings by operator

Between them, ProgressPlay Limited and the Grosvenor Casinos licensee run 16 of the 21 cashiers listed. Their shared terms therefore decide most of the sheet, and the fee follows the operator rather than the bank or the route’s name. A payout time appears on 13 of the 21 cashiers: ProgressPlay Limited’s sites give it in business days, Paddy Power in words, and Playzee, SpinYoo and Betnero in a line written for all withdrawals.

  • ProgressPlay Limited, 9 sites: A fee on each payout, from the clause quoted at the top of this page. Betmaze’s and MrSlot’s withdrawal pages print it again, just below their table of methods. On that table the bank line splits the wait into processing and transfer, each counted in business days.
  • Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, 7 sites: No fee on payouts. Their terms say the casino will “never charge fees on withdrawals”, a promise about payouts that leaves deposits aside.
  • White Hat Gaming Limited: Grand Ivy reads No fee on payouts, while Playzee and SpinYoo read No fee either way. Grand Ivy’s help centre still leaves room for charges set by a card issuer, bank or other financial institution. SpinYoo warns that the provider of the payment method may charge its own fee for receiving a payout. Playzee’s payments page says withdrawals “will be executed on the first working day after they are requested”, and SpinYoo’s withdrawal FAQ says an approved payout “may take up to 3 business days to reach your account”.
  • Anakatech Interactive Limited: Betnero reads No fee on payouts. Its cashout policy adds that the bank or payment processor may levy a fee to process the withdrawal.
  • PPB Games Limited: Paddy Power reads No fee either way, because its terms rule out a charge for deposits or withdrawals, and its timing is the arrival in the bank quoted above.

Trustly charges no service fee of its own, though a currency conversion fee may apply, and it says the bank or the merchant may set charges of their own. A casino’s no-fee wording covers its own tariff, not every charge between the cashier and the bank.

Trustly payment limits set by the bank or the casino

Trustly says the smallest and largest payment can be limited by the bank, the merchant or Trustly’s own service. No single limit applies to every Trustly payment, it can differ from one payment to the next, and Trustly cannot see or confirm the casino’s own limit. Before a large deposit, check what the cashier and the bank each allow per transaction.

For winnings paid to a debit card instead, the card route is set out on Visa casinos. Every payment method on the sheet sits side by side on the home page.

Spending controls that still cover a bank app payment

HSBC’s gambling restriction on a debit card declines in-store and online payments to companies with a gambling code. Its own list, though, excludes “transactions made via Open Banking”. That exclusion is HSBC’s, read on 3 October 2026. Trustly’s own block on gambling payments is offered only in Finland. The controls that hold whatever the bank are the casino’s deposit limit and GAMSTOP. Commission standards make the casino prompt for a deposit limit at registration or at the first deposit. Once the limit is reached, further deposits must stop. Set one before the first bank payment, at a sum you can afford to lose. GAMSTOP self-excludes a player from online operators in one request. At registration, and again at every log-in, a Great Britain online licensee has to query that list.

Help is free at GamCare, whose National Gambling Helpline answers phone and WhatsApp on 0808 8020 133 for England and Scotland, and it never closes. Live chat with a helpline adviser is on its website too. Wales has an NHS line of its own for gambling harm, answered at every hour on 0808 2819 265, at no charge. Players must be 18 or over.
